Prepaid FAQs

b.mobile’s 3G prepaid service is a hassle-free mobile service that gives you true freedom of movement with a choice to purchase either the B$5, B$10, $15or B$30 top-up cards. Since all charges are deducted from your available credit, you will not have to deal with a bill at the end of the month. Just buy a new top-up card when you need it.

You will need to show us your original valid IC to help us verify your details.

A starter pack will cost you B$36. This includes the registration fee of B$6, licence fee of B$25 and a top up card worth $5 (extra bonus of $1).

Starter packs and top-up cards are available from b.mobile’s authorized vendors WyWy, Jill & Jill, QQ Station, Dee Jay and Fock Lee, b.mobile Care Centres and various retailers nationwide.

It’s simple, just dial 178 and you will be prompted to key in the 12-digit serial number and your new balance will be announced. Or dial *178# followed by the 12-digit serial number and the ‘#’ key.

$5 top-up card valid for 7 days, $10 top-up card valid for 15 days, $15 top-up card valid for 30days and $30 top-up card valid for 60 days. Accumulation period is up to 90 days maximum.

You can check your balance by dialing 179 or dial *179# and your balance will be displayed on your handset screen.

There will be 2 notifications. Once when the credit reaches B$5 and the next one when credit reaches B$1. 

You lose any remaining credit after your credit expiry date. You will also lose your number after the expiry date.

There will be an accumulation of up to 90 days when you top -up.

The number will be lost when the credit expires. There will be a suspension period of 21 days to get back 100% full credit return and a 7 days period of keeping the number.

This service allows you to transfer credit from one subscriber to another with a minimal charge of B$0.50 per transfer. However credit transfer will not affect the credit expiry dates of either the sender or receiver.

Simply dial 175, and choose the credit transfer option. Follow the instructions to transfer credit. When it prompts you for the 8 digit pin number, simply enter 12345678. You can only transfer whole dollars and zero cents.

The sender and the receiver will each receive an sms announcing that the transfer was successful.

Yes. Just visit any of our Care Centres and our Customer Service personnel will walk you through the process. You only need to choose a plan and pay the deposit.

b.mobile is not liable or obligated to pay, refund or transfer any remaining credit on the SIM card.  There is replacement charge of B$20 to replace your SIM card whilst retaining the same number. There is no warranty on the SIM cards.

The international access codes from your prepaid 3G line is 089 followed by the country code + area code + phone number.
