What is ZOOM! Broadband Service?
ZOOM! Broadband is B-Mobile’s 3.5G High-Speed Internet Service. It is a “Mobile Broadband” service which provides you the mobility of surfing the internet Anytime, Anywhere. It is wireless, convenient and you can share access.
What is the ZOOM! Broadband Package?
There are currently 2 types of packages on offer;
- The FREE Laptop and FREE Modem package; and
- The FREE Modem package
What are the available payment methods?
We accept Cash, Credit Card and Bank Loan.
Will I get a bill every month?
Yes, you will get a bill every month.
Will I have to pay monthly rental to b.mobile as well as paying the bank monthly?
No. The package you purchased already includes the monthly rental. You will only be charged for any excess local usage up to $40 and sms and roaming data charges (if any).

Do I need a 3.5G phone to use this service?
No, you do not need a phone with this service.
Where can I use ZOOM! Broadband?
You can use ZOOM! Broadband Anytime, Anywhere where there is network coverage.
How fast is the speed?
The speed can reach up to 3.6Mbps. The data transfer speed will differ depending on coverage, location, mechanism type/equipment, data applications and network traffic at time of access.
Is there a limit to the FREE internet surfing?
Every month you get 2GB of FREE surfing. Excess usage after 2GB will be charged at $0.50/MB. However, you will only be charged a maximum of $40 for excess local usage. In other words after $40 usage, you get Unlimited Local Access. Data roaming charges are applicable [Click here to view Data roaming charges].
Can I check my how much FREE usage I have left?
Yes. Simply SMS info to 1010 on the modem interface and you should receive an SMS stating how much FREE usage you have left.

Can I use the 3.5G modem on different computers?
Yes you can. The modem uses a USB plug so it can be used on any computers as long as it has a USB port.
I currently have a b.mobile line, can I upgrade my line to any of the FREE LAPTOP packages?
You may use your existing line for the FREE laptop packages, however the rental plan that comes with the laptop package is purely for data and sms usage only. Prevailing Postpaid Rates apply for SMS [Click here to view].
I currently have a b.mobile line, can I upgrade my line to the FREE MODEM package? If yes, what are the charges like?
You may use your existing line for the FREE modem package as it includes 500 FREE Voice minutes, 100 FREE Video minutes, 600 FREE SMS, and 10 FREE MMS. However, you will need to transfer your simcard into a compatible mobile phone to utilise these services. Prevailing Postpaid Rates apply [Click here to view].
Can I use my 3.5G Modem and Laptop overseas?

Do the laptops and modems come with a warranty?
Yes. Each laptop and the modem come with a 1 year warranty.
How do I share Internet Access with ZOOM! Broadband?
To share, simply connect the router into your laptop using a LAN cable (usually included with routers). Open "Network Connections" in your Control Panel and select the "USB HSDPA modem connection". Right click the properties and enable "Internet Sharing Option". The internet IP of your router must be set to "Dynamic".
